Delete Your Account

You have two options for managing your Player One account and data. Choose the option that best fits your needs.

1. Delete Your Data (Keep Login)

This option removes all your in-app data but keeps your login credentials so you can start fresh.

What this does:

  • Deletes all your habits, progress, and habit logs
  • Removes your Dream Jar and transactions
  • Clears AI Coach plans and history
  • Resets your onboarding status
  • Removes all user-scoped data from your account

What this keeps:

  • Your login credentials (email/password or social login)
  • Your ability to sign back in
  • Your account identity

How to Delete Your Data:

  1. Open the Player One app
  2. Go to Profile → Manage Account
  3. Tap "Delete Account Data"
  4. Confirm the action in the dialog
  5. You will be signed out and can sign back in to start fresh

Note: This action cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted.

2. Delete Your Account (Permanent)

This option permanently deletes your Player One account, all your data, and your login. You will not be able to sign in again with this account.

⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent and irreversible

Once you delete your account, you cannot recover it or any of your data. You will need to create a new account if you want to use Player One again in the future.

What gets deleted:

  • All your habits, progress, and habit logs
  • Your Dream Jar and all transactions
  • AI Coach plans and history
  • All user-scoped data
  • Your Firebase Auth account (login credentials)
  • Your ability to sign in with this account

How to Delete Your Account:

  1. Open the Player One app
  2. Go to Profile → Manage Account
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Read the warning message carefully
  5. Confirm the action in the dialog
  6. You will be signed out and cannot sign back in with this account

Note: If you need to log in again before deleting your account (for security), please do so and then try deleting your account.

3. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your data or account, the following information is permanently removed:

User Data

  • User profile information
  • Account settings and preferences
  • Onboarding status and progress

Habits & Progress

  • All habits and habit configurations
  • Habit completion logs and history
  • XP, levels, and character progress
  • Achievements and badges

Dream Jar

  • Dream Jar entries and goals
  • All transaction history
  • Saved rewards and progress

AI Coach

  • AI Coach plans and recommendations
  • Coaching history and interactions
  • Cached suggestions and preferences

Notifications

  • Notification tokens
  • Notification preferences and settings

Note: Some anonymous, non-linkable analytics data may be retained for product improvement purposes, but this data cannot be associated with your account or identity.
